The LEDNA program promotes LED in Africa through activities grouped into 3 main themes:
- The support for national associations of local governments in the development and implementation of national LED programs.
- Technical assistance and capacity buildingof elected representatives and local leaders in the development and implementation of LED processes. This is done through the online social network as well as field activities such as support missions, workshops, and experts’ accreditation.
- A resource center and a community of practitionersaccessible to the public (www.ledna.org) and providing aunique platform for all resources on LED (theory, methodology, examples and best practices). The resource center already has more than 4,500 publications and almost 1,200 members (elected officials, LED practitioners and experts, etc.). The website is visited by more than 3,600 visitors per month.
